About GAEL Tours

GAEL Tours is a small business in the historic seaside port of Digby, Nova Scotia.
We are located on the shores of the Annapolis Basin in an area designated as the Fundy Aquarium Ecozone. Digby is also located in the UNESCO designated Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve. Home to the world's largest scallop fleet, seafood is one of our main attractions.

The scenery is impressive, but it's your experiences in the Digby area that will provide you with a lifetime of memories. Come with me to the edge of the Bay of Fundy to discover what brings the giant whales to the Bay in our Plankton, Periwinkles and Predators adventure. Hopefully, you will give us the opportunity to take you on a stroll through our town as we recount the tales of settlers and seafarers in our Stones, Steeples, Ships and Seafood tour. Sample fare from the sea as you learn about the fishing industry. Make your stay a couple of days and do both tours or take advantage of our package with Petit Passage Whale Watch.  We can customize to fit your needs.

"Leading people to discover the features of this amazing area is a natural extension of a passion I have for nature, history and culture. A life-long resident of the area, I am retired after 31 years as an educator at Digby Regional High School. Hiking, soccer, photography, birding and discovering new things about the flora and fauna of Nova Scotia are my pastimes."
